Well, I am going through another "agonizing appraisal." One of my blogs has got to go. Either by a couple of people interested in taking it over or by deletion. I have to find at least two people from at least two different organizations to take over one of these blogs. And they can take their pick. I am trying to have patience but I may not have enough time. If I cannot get these two in the month of June, then I will delete, Dancing Nights blog. That will leave me four blogs. The Web sites do not have many hits and I don't want to get into that territory.
This blog is doing pretty good only because I am able to get a little information of "Wot's Doing" from some of my friends. If I can get any dance information from anyone, it has value. Just because I can share it with our reader/dancers and that keeps everyone happy. Feedback, opinions, whatever you are willing to share with our fellow dancers. Photos? Email them in. Icing on the cake. Seems like it should be a rather simple matter but the opinions out there are very varied. I have had people, that really had no bad intentions, offer me their libraries of photos to use whenever I needed.
I can see myself spending days going through thousands of photos to find the "right" ones for me. Our blogs are current. A blog with hundreds of photos is not the answer. There must be a balance between text and photos and even other graphics. I haven't found much information on this but I have gone through a little experience in this century with several blogs. One, two or three people is mainly of interest only to the photees, and it very possible that the need is somewhere. A very large group does not do much for blogging either. But a carefully prepared photo of four to eight dear friends is a gold mine to everyone concerned.
"Most of the more experience dancers are not fond of some of the commercial
“club scenes” with ear-deafening and mind-numbing music that
seems intentionally to sound the same."

it's about giving and being."
