Dance Week ended August 4th.

There a still street dancers in Hawaii. But it seems as though the farther you get from Honolulu, the more street dancers. A street dance is a dance style that evolves outside dance studios in any available open space such as streets, dance parties, block parties, parks, school yards, and nightclubs. There are many capable dance studios in town that will take anyone that wishes to dance. The term is used to describe social dancing in urban context. Social dances are often improvisational and social in nature, encouraging interaction and contact with spectators and other dancers.

"Dance exists first on a simple level, not on an intellectual plane (even
though it eventually requires skill and intelligence). Its inmost
substance cannot be reasoned, only experienced.”
