Real Four B

Introducing the new weekend blog. So what's doing this weekend? No one will tell us. maybe next week. For sure no one has ever done this before and some have told us that it will never work. So what do I know? But I am going to find out soon. Meanwhile I will put in whatever.

Meanwhile there are many dancers, teachers, and clubs that I will end up helping and of course I may ignore others. Fortunately those that ignore me, will probably appreciate it if I ignore them. Easy to understand? No hu hu

"Dancing in the Dark" by E Street Band  1984

Our entire enchilada of blogs show signs of improving even with the dilution of the readers available for the six blogs. The different blogs do provide a kind of synergism in attracting more readers so that the total hits keep going up. The secret is to find the Information and Photo Contributors willing to share their pearls of information with their fellow dancers. They are crucial and may eventually be the Guest Bloggers that will take over when the time comes.

“Social dancers feel that when they dance, they can forget all the bad things
and only remember the good things."

The Real Four

With an average hits per day going lower, this weekly blog is not doing so good. But a weekly blog is new and not may not be back in the search engines yet. But I have had a suggestion to add another blog to the Sunday weekly on Thursday specializing on the Week End attractions on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Sounds good enough to try. So what do I know. The readers are pretty well informed with the other dance blogs.

“Social dancers know that music is what moves the body,
soul and spirit into a dance.”

"Here I Go Again" by Whitesnake  1982

There may be a few Webmasters out there that are aware of this but they have a world of their own and we must respect it. Meanwhile we have our work cut out for us. I must rustle the bushes for Information Contributors, Photo Contributors and a few Guest Authors. According to my stats we are at the point of diminishing returns with mostly SOS, (Same Old Shit.) So come one, come all, the readers need your information.

"Social Dance will never be endangered - dancers
will always find a way to express it."

Week Three

This is the third week and I must face it. Tough going and I was told that a weekly blog would not work because it had never been done before. Makes Sense. Most people do not see this blog for advancing their public relations. No Hu Hu, I understand that this has never been done before with a blog so I don't know but neither does anyone else. So I have no choice but to try it and I intend to publish every Sunday for West Oahu and including the North Shore until I know what I am doing. The dance highlights of the week - and as always I am open to suggestions. I will ignore the one that says, "dump it."

"Social dancers believe that love is a song, dance a celebration, - a song of
gratitude, a dance of thankfulness, a celebration for no reason at all."

"From Here To Eternity" by Englebert Humperdinck

The basic moves are the regular moves made in most dances. regular even step walks, rock step, chassé, slow and quick step and the different music beats that will be followed. We don't even have to speak the same language verbally because we can communicate through the rhythms of the music. The Gold or advance division are definitely for people interested in exhibitions and competitions. If there are at least 600 documented steps in each dance, that leaves over 500 for their use. And we all agree that they do very well indeed. For our partner social dancing we don't need. We want to enjoy moving to our favorite music.

“Social dancers are not afraid of death, they are afraid of an unlived life.
You don't have to live forever, you just have to dance and live.”

Week Two

This is the second week and we must face it. Not much interest in this blog for advancing anyone's public relations. No Hu Hu, we should just understand that this has never been done before with a blog. I don't know and neither does anyone else. So I have no choice but to cut it short for now.  I intend to publish every Sunday for West Oahu and including the North Shore until I know what I am doing. This blog is just starting a new journey. Actually none of our blogs have been properly defined because we get little feedback. Hopefully we can get some feedback here so that we can give the readers what they want. Feedback, in the form of comments at the end of every blog. Then we have information contributors emailing a little more information and photos too. This builds readers and that means hits on the counters. Mahalo.

Just picked this up from a dance blog on the Mainland. "We are all here,
because we are not all there." - - Howzat again?
