The New Year

Here's wishing all of you a safe and happy holiday season with the hope of having a bright and joyful new year. I hope you will have gone to any one of the many good dance celebrations that we had on this island. Now if we could get a couple of photos of the occasions. Wow! It would be photos for all of us on the island of Oahu, not on Flicker, Picasa, Instagram, Facebook or Photobucket. They receive hundreds of millions and millions of photos, daily. Those contain photo albums. Big, Big Difference. Our photos are in our blogs of our people for us on Oahu. You got four, three or two special people? Dis da place! Who sees them? Our people.

"Perhaps, our business in life is not to succeed,
but to continue to fail in good spirits.

For our blogs there are those items of unique happy dance occasions, and they are your opinion. Not mine, or his, or hers, they are yours and that is what makes blogging so unique. Intersperse and balanced with text and photos, makes a perfect blog. This is going to take a while for our readers to understand but it is coming, meanwhile, so is a little sharing of this information with our fellow dancers. And the hits will go through the roof.

Google Plus. You don't need an invite you can just ask to be let in. It seems to be better than Facebook or Twitter. I cooled on Facebook a year back. Guy Kawasaki has just written a terrific book "What the Plus!" Paperback on sale at Amazon for only $8. For now I just keep it to share my blogs from Blogger and WordPress. This particular "Blogging Hawaii" truly amazes me. The feedback this coming year will make the big difference in any of the blogs. And perhaps I will see my best blog go independent, I can resign and the new people will run it up into the best dance blog in the Pacific.

"Social dancers know the one thing that they truly have that nobody else has,
is themselves. So write and play and dance and live as only you can."
